SHERMAN, & PHILLIP SHERIDAN. 1) State of Virginia Land Grant, Oct. 10, 1786, signed "P. Henry" governor of Virginia. Patrick Henry is scarce Revolutionary War founding father signature. He is most famous for his 1775 speech "give me liberty, or give me death". Vellum document is soiled, cracked at one fold, light faded, bottom corner torn, signature panel is fair. Frame is poor with broken glass. 2) William Tecumseh Sherman signed framed calling card "WT Sherman / Lt. Gen USA". Framed with engraving of Sherman, has COA Mounted on back of frame, signature is very good in pencil. 3) Phillip Sheridan framed clipped signature "PH Sheridan / Lieut General". Framed with engraving of Sheridan, has COA & receipt from Recollections Gallery, Red Bank, NJ, 1996. Signature is very good with light fading. (02-23219/JS). NON-GUN. $700-900.
