Cal. 22 LR. S# P5603. Bbl. 18 1/2". Para carbine semi-auto rifle mfg. by Franchi in Italy and imported by F.I.E Corp. in Miami, FL. Left side of bbl. is marked with Franchi's mfg. information and the cal designation, with the right exhibiting Italian proofs followed by F.I.E. importer information. Aluminum receiver exhibits a "black wrinkle finish", with the bbl. exhibiting a blue finish and the buttstock a parkerized finish. Plain wood pistol grip with wood forend featuring grasping grooves. Left side of grip is marked with a parachute medallion. Hooded and ramped blade front sight with U-notch tangent rear sight. Rifle is fitted with a khaki canvas web sling. CONDITION: metal components retain bountiful amounts of their original factory finishes, exhibiting some scattered superficial handling marks overall. Mirror bore exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Wood furniture shows a couple marks and dings but otherwise is good overall.
