Cal. 11mm. S# G38560. Bbl. 4 3/4". Blade front sight. Fixed rear sight. Grip screw appears to be numbered "628". All other visible numbered parts are matching. Early double action French revolver that saw service all the way into WW1. Right side of bbl. has 1877 date. Right side of frame has St. Etienne arsenal markings. In-the-white metal. Checkered hardwood grips. No lanyard ring assembly present. CONDITION: grips show some light chipping, checkering wear, handling marks & staining. Metal shows scattered oxidation, handling marks & some light pitting. Timing is loose & hammer pushes off, revolver will need attention to function properly. Worn bore with pitting & oxidation throughout. (01-27344/MJC). ANTIQUE. $200-300.
