SHOT STALKING RIFLE. Cal. 243 Win. S# 132-67612. Bbl. 23 1/2" tapered octagon. Top bbl. flat is marked "FRIEDRICH WILH HEYM". Left flat has added matching S# "132-67612" with caliber marking, followed by German Eagle/N, Mellrichstadt Proof House mark, and "51F". Raised ramp mounted blade front sight. Fixed U-notch rear sight on matted top quarter rib, which also holds the QD scope bases. Zeiss Diatal-Z 6x42 T* gloss finished scope with heavy duplex reticle. Ruger action has fine Germanic custom engraving on its sides. Right side woodland scene features a running deer. Left side scene features a running antelope. Scenes are surrounded by relief carved oak leaf engraving with finely stippled backgrounds. Custom trigger actuates from original trigger spur and is finely tuned to approx. 2.6lbs. Sides of breechblock are hand jeweled. Schnabel tipped forearm and pistol grip stock of fine European walnut with Germanic style sloping comb and cheekpiece with deeply fluted lower edge. Stock features include point pattern hand checkering and black hard rubber grip cap. LOP: 14 5/8" over a brown ventilated Schaftkappe marked recoil pad. Hand tooled leather sling, front swivel is bbl. mounted. Weight with scope: 8lbs. 7.8oz. CONDITION: bbl. and action retain near excellent custom blue and bright finished receiver sides.
