SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 Ga, 2". S# 26584. Bbl. 25 1/2" with concave game rib and brass. Bbls. are marked "Fs. DUMOULIN & CO./ ESTABLISHED 1849". Top of rib has importer marking "International Armories". Francois Dumoulin was established in Herstal, Belgium in 1849 and mfg. a variety of pistols, rifles, and guns into the 1950s. Trim boxlock action with double under lug locking. Double triggers, front trigger is articulated. Selective ejectors. Automatic top tang safety. Blue finish with highlights of floral and scroll engraving around action screws, receiver top, and breech end of bbls. Anson release splinter forearm and straight hand walnut stock with point pattern hand checkering. LOP: 14 1/4" over original grooved buttplate. DAC: 1 7/16". DAH: 2 1/8". Stock has approx. 1/8" cast off. Bore Diameter: RT: .719, LT: .722. Choke Constriction: RT: opened to .014 (Mod.), opened to LT: .032 (Full). Minimum Wall Thickness: RT: .031, LT: .031. Weight: 5lbs. 2.8oz. CONDITION: bbls. retain over 97% original blue. Action retains 95% original blue showing faint edge wear and light handling marks. Original wood finish shows scattered scratches and marks. Action is tight and on face with lever sitting nicely right of center. Very good bright bores. (25-2479/DS). CURIO. $2,000-3,000.
