Cal. 9mm. S# FU91017. Bbl. 7.5". The STEN was the standard SMG of the British armed forces during WWII & remained in service until the late 1950s. A simple select-fire, open bolt, blowback operated design with a very slow cyclic rate, & few moving parts. It has unique silhouette and is easily recognizable due to its left side magazine placement, directly across from the ejection port. Selector is located in front of trigger, marked w/ "A" for full auto and an "R" for semiautomatic fire. This particular example utilizes a tube that was manufactured. by Interport of St. George, UT. "T" style shoulder stock. Mixed painted / blued finish. Original style fixed front blade & rear peep sight. Magazine well retains cleat stamping "STEN MKII" on top, w/ "SECO" on opposite side w/ serial number. Bottom of trigger guard still bears the early British # "50355". MAGS: 10 steel 30 rd. mags. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: 2 mag loaders & 3 assorted green mag pouches. CONDITION: Finish coverage complete & consistent on receiver tube, trigger housing & mag well, w/ thin bluing on barrel & shoulder stock. Bright bore w/ strong rifling. Fire control mechanism is smooth & appears to function correctly when cycled by hand. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT SMG REQUIRING BATF TRANSFER BEFORE TAKING POSSESSION. FULLY TRANSFERABLE. (03-1754/JZ). CLASS III, MODERN. $6,000-9,000.
