The air cooled 1919 machine gun is one of the most iconic machine guns in history with a very long service life seeing use in WW2, Korea, Vietnam, varied Middle Eastern conflicts among many others. Registration paperwork lists model as 1919A6. Gun has features of box M1919A4 & A6 with A6 style carry handle & A4 style tripod. Parts appear to be a mix of USGI & Israeli. Right sideplate has "US INSP/BROWNING MACHINE GUN/US CAL. 30 M1919A4/MAN'FD BY DLO MFG, STAMFORD, CT/SAGINAW STEERING GEAR DIV/GENERAL MOTORS CORPORATION". Bolt is marked "7.62" & is likely Israeli. Parkerized finish. Hardwood carry handle. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: 1919A6 buttstock, 4 varied cloth belts, tripod & T&E unit. CONDITION: carry handle shows some dings & handling marks. Metal retains 75% arsenal grade rework parkerized finish with some finished over dings, scattered edge wear, handling marks, light oxidation & fading.
