Cal. 380. S# 85-3800960. Bbl. 5". RPB's entry into the "Micro Mac" market was the tiny M11-A1, open bolt SMG, chambered in .380 ACP. It was designated the M11-A1 so as not to be confused w/ their popular 9mm, M11 Submachine Gun. While the traditional MAC 10 or even the 9mm M-11 were generally considered "boxey or chunky" in design, the M11-A1 was similar in size to the Colt 1911, though not quite as ergonomic in design. The suppressor users enjoyed the M11-A1s since the 380 ammo was already subsonic, just like the 45ACP and provided a very low sound signature when fired. Dark gray parkerized finish. Protected post front sight. Rear peep sight is a hole drilled in the rear receiver extension to coincide w/ the front sight. Slotted charging knob provides an unobstructed view. The action is locked by rotating the charging knob 90-degrees in the closed position. Safety is located on the right side of the receiver, inside the trigger guard. The selector is located on the left side of the receiver. Threaded barrel w/ safety strap hanger. As well as having all the original parts, this example has been heavily upgraded w/ the addition of a Lage-style barreled upper receiver & much more robust collapsible stock. The upper boasts a 9", 3-lug barrel, a protected post front sight & dual aperture rear peep sight & an 8" picatinny rail for almost unlimited sight options. MAGS: 3 Shockwave ZMag 30 rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: original barreled upper receiver, grip parts, & stock. CONDITION: Finish is complete & consistent w/ some light thinning on high spots & in areas of mechanical intervention. Bright bore w/ strong rifling. Fire control mechanism appears to function correctly when cycled by hand. NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT MG REQUIRING BATF TRANSFER BEFORE TAKING POSSESSION. FULLY TRANSFERABLE.(03-1733/JZ). MODERN CLASS III. $6,000-9,000.
