SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL. Cal. 7.65mm. S# 446967. Bbl. 3 1/4". Model 1935 semi-automatic pistol mfg. by Beretta in 1940 and subsequently imported into Germany by GECO for commercial sales. The left side of the slide exhibits standard factory markings, denoting Beretta's mfg. information, the cal. designation, as well as the year of mfg. Left side of the frame is marked with Italian proofs above "1940", with "GECO" marked on the right. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Frame is mounted with 2-piece "PB" textured black synthetic grips. Fixed blade front sight, with dovetailed semi U-notch rear sight. All serialized parts are matching and include the frame, slide and bbl. MAGS: 1 8-rd., with blued steel grip extension. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting spots/areas of light to mild edge wear and scattered superficial handling marks overall. Bbl. exhibits large areas of wear and thinning. Mirror bore, exhibiting a small spot of what appears to be light pitting, while retaining well defined rifling throughout. Grips show some superficial marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remain sturdy and serviceable. (25-2392/MLW). CURIO. $300-500.
