WITH HOLSTER. Cal. 7.65mm. S# 95971. Bbl. 3 5/16". Royal pistol produced by an unknown mfg. the Eibar region of Spain. Left side of the slide is marked "CAL 765 MODEL AUTOMATIC PISTOL/ ROYAL". Left side of the frame exhibits Spanish proofs, with a GECO import mark stamped on the right beneath the S#. Frame and slide exhibit a blue finish, with bbl. and trigger being polished in-the-white. Frame is mounted with 2-piece "ROYAL" checkered black hard rubber grips. Half-moon blade front sight with V-notch rear sight. All serialized parts are matching and include the frame, slide (interior), and bbl. MAGS: 1 nickel plated 9-rd. with 9 transverse indicator holes. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: modified period brown leather holster. CONDITION: metal components retain large amounts of their dull blue finish, showing areas of wear and thinning fading to gray patina, scattered scratches, and spots/areas of light pitting. Very bright bore, exhibiting strong rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Grips show smoothing and scattered marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remain sturdy and serviceable. Holster shows wear and scattered handling marks, with some areas of mild crazing. (25-3943/MLW). CURIO. $200-300.
