SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL WITH HOLSTER. Cal. 7.65mm. S# 390660K. Bbl. 3 1/4". Model PPK semi-automatic pistol mfg. by Walther for German police use between 1938-1945. Left side of the slide is marked with the Walther banner logo, followed by markings stipulating Walther's mfg. information, as well as the model and cal. designations. Left side of the frame is marked with a German police Eagle/C proof, with the S# marked on the right. Right side of the slide, chamber, and bbl. exhibit a German Eagle/N commercial nitro proof. Metal components exhibit a dull military blue finish overall. Frame is mounted with a 1-piece Walther banner checkered black synthetic wrap around grip. Fixed blade front sight, with fixed U-notch rear sight. Matching numbers are present on the right side of the frame and slide. MAGS: 2 blued 7-rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: brown leather holster marked "ROBERT LARSEN/ BERLIN/ SW68/ 1939" above a German eagle party insignia. CONDITION: very good, with metal components retaining the majority of their original arsenal blue finish, exhibiting some areas of light to mild wear and thinning that show through to gray patina, some light superficial handling marks, as well as some scattered spots of light to mild surface oxidation and pitting. Mirror bore, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Grip shows some smoothing, as well as some scattered marks from handling and storage. Holster remains malleable, exhibiting some minor wear and marks from handling and storage. A nice example of a Eagle/C police proofed Walther Model PP pistol. (24-6776/MLW). CURIO. $1,500-2,500.
