GUN TWO BARREL SET. S# 233470/1 (mfg. April 1925). Barrel 1 (cal. 16 Ga., 2 1/2" / 8.8x72R) has S# 233470 being 26 3/4" with bead front sight, 2 leaf rear sight & claw mounts on matted rib. Fixed IM choke. Barrel 2 (cal. 16 Ga., 2 1/2") has S# 233470 being 26 3/4" with bead front sight, 2 leaf rear sight & claw mounts on matted rib. Fixed Full chokes. Both water tables shows April 1925 German Nitro proofs. Both barrels have sling swivels, checkered splinter forearm with matching numbered irons & Deeley releases. Hammer side locks with scroll engraving; action features double triggers & extractors. Walnut stock set w/ checkering, steel grip cap, Bavarian cheekpiece & sling swivel. LOP: 13 7/" to replacement Old English pad. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: 2 A-ZOOM Snap caps & barrels as described. CONDITION: both barrel sets have good blue with scattered pinprick patina, marks & large spots of cleaned pitting. Forearm #1 in fair condition showing significant deep dents that go through the checkering. Forearm #2 in good condition showing dents. All bores of both barrels in very good condition showing light fouling in shotgun bores & throat of rifle bore showing wear. Receiver has cleaned gray patina appearance with areas of prior pitting & marks. Good wood finish on buttstock with small cracks & scattered dings. (25-748/MD). CURIO. $1,750-2,500.
