SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL WITH HOLSTER. Cal. 7.65mm. S# 40898a. Bbl. 4 1/2". Model 1910/22 (1922) semi-automatic pistol mfg. by Fabrique Nationale in Belgium while under German occupation. Left side of the slide exhibits the standard FN slide legend with the addition of an "(H)" as well as German Eagle/WaA140 proofs. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered wood grips. All numbers are matching and include the frame, slide (interior), slide extension, as well as the bbl. MAGS: 2 9-rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: unmarked correct period brown leather holster containing 1 spare mag. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original arsenal blue finish, exhibiting some areas of wear and thinning that show through to gray patina, as well as some small scattered spots of light pitting overall. Very bright bore, exhibiting light pitting while retaining well-defined rifling throughout. 1 mag. exhibits some mild surface oxidation overall. Grips are good to very good, showing some smoothing and a few scattered marks from handling and storage. Holster remains malleable, exhibiting some age-related cracking and a few spots of light crazing, but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable overall. (24-1493/MLW). CURIO. $300-500.
