PISTOL WITH HOLSTER. Cal. 9mm Para. S# C8494. Bbl. 4 5/8". wz.35 (German designation: P.35(p). ) semi-automatic pistol mfg. in Poland at the Radom arsenal while under German occupation. Left side of the slide is marked "F.B.RADOM VIS Mod.35.Pat.Nr15567." above a Radom Eagle/WaA77 proof (Eagle/WaA77 also present on the left side of the frame). Left side of the bbl. lug is marked with Steyr Eagle/WaA623 proofs and an eagle firing proof. Metal components exhibit a quality reapplied blue finish overall, save for on the bbl., which is polished in-the-white. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered black plastic grips, with "FB" on the left panel and "VIS" on the right. Slide features a matte rib, with a fixed blade front sight (rear face painted red) and a dovetailed V-notch rear sight. No matching numbers are present, with the frame numbered "C8494", slide "D1059", and the bbl. numbered "451". MAGS: 2 8-rd. blued mags. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: likely reproduction brown leather holster marked with an Eagle/WaA706 above "bdr/ 41" on the rear. CONDITION: excellent, as refinished, with metal components retaining bountiful amounts of their reapplied blue finish, exhibiting some light edge wear, some scattered superficial handling marks, as well as areas of light to mild pitting beneath the bluing overall. Bore exhibits consistent dark pitting, while retaining strong rifling throughout. Grips are good, showing some smoothing, as well as some superficial handling marks overall. Holster remains malleable, exhibiting some wear and some scattered superficial marks from handling and storage. (24-6880/MLW). CURIO. $800-1,200.
