Cal. 25 ACP. S# 4583. Bbls. 3" arranged in mag. fashion w/ matching S# block. Left side of block marked "BREVETE / D.R.P. / 177025" (patent #) / Imperial Eagle Proof. Mfg. 1907-1914 in limited numbers. Four bbl. pistol (functions DA); raises bbls. for succeeding shots; revolver style operation but more compact, flat design. After top bbl. fires, each succeeding bbl. has part of its gas pressure used to eject the cartridge above which is deflected off unusual shaped hammer spur. Frame mounted safety lever. Crown "N" proofs. Matching numbered trigger. Right grip marked "D.R.P. 177023"; left has "REFORM PISTOLE BREVETE" (both checkered hard rubber). CONDITION: hint of beginning high point thinning but basically all aspects are near excellent including bores & grips. PROVENANCE: Estate Collection of Kenneth Horn (Grandson of JC Higgins).
