Cal. 11mm. S# 244. Bbl. 31 1/2". Standard 71-84 sights with rear sight ladder stuck. All visible matching numbers. 1888 dated Spandau 71-84 rifle. No unit markings on buttplate. In-the-white receiver, bolt & buttplate. Balance of other parts are blued. Walnut stock with bottom mounted sling swivels & strong Imperial inspection stamps. CONDITION: stock shows some scratches, dings & handling marks. In-the-white parts show some scattered oxidation staining & some light pitting but remain partially bright. Balance of metal retains 90% original blue with some light scratches around front trigger guard screw, a couple patches of light pitting on bbl., some edge wear & handling marks. Mag cutoff is stuck in rear position but action is otherwise functional when hand cycled. Bright near excellent bore. (01-28960/MJC). ANTIQUE. $400-600.
