PPK SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL WITH HOLSTER. Cal. 7.65mm. S# 390218k. Bbl. 3 1/4". Model PPK semi-automatic pistol mfg. by Walther circa. 1942. Left side of the slide is marked with the Walther banner logo, followed by markings stipulating Walther's mfg. information, as well as the model and cal. designations. Left side of frame is stamped with an Eagle/C proof, denoting police issue. Right side of slide, chamber, and bbl. (at muzzle) exhibit a horizontal German Eagle/N commercial nitro proof. Frame exhibits a plum colored finish, with the slide exhibiting a dull late war blue finish. Frame is mounted with 1-piece Walther banner checkered black plastic grip. Standard blade front sight, with U-notch rear sight. MAGS: 1 8-rd. with black plastic grip extension. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: brown leather holster marked "0555/000/ 1943" on the rear of the belt loop. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory finish, exhibiting some areas of mild wear and thinning, some superficial handling marks, as well as scattered spots of light to mild surface level pitting overall. Brilliant mirror bore, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Grip shows scattered superficial handling marks, as well as some age related warping, but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable. Holster remains malleable, exhibiting areas of age related cracking and crazing, with the belt loop having torn and been stitched back together at one time. $1,200-2,000.
