MODEL PP SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL WITH HOLSTER. Cal. 7.65mm. S# 272522P. Bbl. 3 7/8". Model PP semi-automatic pistol mfg. by Walther circa. 1942. Left side of the slide is marked with the Walther banner logo, followed by markings stipulating Walther's mfg. information, as well as the model and cal. designations. Left side of slide and frame both exhibit an Eagle/WaA359 proof. Right side of slide, chamber, and bbl. (at muzzle) exhibit a horizontal German Eagle/N commercial nitro proof. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Frame is mounted with 2-piece Walther banner checkered black plastic grips. Standard blade front sight, with U-notch rear sight. Matching S#s are present on the frame and slide. MAGS: 1 8-rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: green leather Beretta Model 1935 holster. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original arsenal blue finish, exhibiting some light to mild wear, some scattered superficial handling marks, as well as some scattered spots of light surface oxidation/pitting overall. Grip straps exhibit thinning that shows through to gray patina, with scattered spots of light surface level oxidation and pitting. Very bright bore, exhibiting scattered spots of mild pitting, while retaining well defined rifling throughout. Grips show some scattered superficial marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remain sturdy and serviceable. Holster remains malleable, exhibiting some mild wear and crazing. (24-5590/MLW).
