SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL. Cal. 7.65mm. S# 935506. Bbl. 3 1/4". Model HSc semi-automatic pistol mfg. by Mauser for the German military during World War II. The left side of the slide is marked with the Mauser banner logo, followed by markings stipulating Mauser's mfg. information, as well as the model and cal. designations. Left side of the rear trigger guard web is marked with a Mauser Eagle/WaA135 acceptance proof, with a German Eagle/N commercial nitro proof marked on the right (also present on right side of slide). Metal components exhibit a dull blue finish overall, save for on the bbl., which is polished in-the-white. Frame is mounted with 2-piece flat checkered wood grips. Slide features a grooved sight channel, with a fixed blade front sight and dovetailed U-notch rear sight. MAGS: 1 8-rd. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original arsenal blue finish, exhibiting some spots of light wear and thinning, with scattered spots of light surface oxidation overall. Front grip strap exhibits some spots of light surface oxidation, with the rear grip strap exhibiting spots / small areas of mild to moderate oxidation. Mirror bore, exhibiting strong rifling throughout. Grips show scattered marks and minor impressions from handling and storage, but otherwise remain sturdy and serviceable. (25-969/MLW).
