SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL WITH HOLSTER. Cal. 7.65mm. S# 329252P. Bbl. 3 7/8". Model PP semi-automatic pistol mfg. by Walther for the German military during World War II. Left side of the slide is faintly marked with the Walther banner logo, followed by markings stipulating Walther's mfg. information, as well as the model and cal. designations. Left side of the slide and bbl. exhibit a Walther Eagle/WaA359 proof. Metal components exhibit a dull military blue finish overall, with the frame retaining a plum colored finish. Frame is mounted with 2-piece Walther banner checkered wood grips. Fixed blade front sight, with dovetailed U-notch rear sight. Matching numbers are present on the frame and slide. MAGS: 2 8-rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: black leather holster marked "RBNr/ 0350/0227" beneath the closure flap and with an Eagle/WaA640" beneath the closure flap strap. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some areas of wear and thinning, as well some superficial handling marks overall. Sides of slide (especially on the right side) exhibit a strip of moderate oxidation, with light oxidation present over the slide legend. Mirror bore, exhibiting some light pitting, while retaining well defined rifling throughout. Grips are very good overall. Holster remains malleable, exhibiting some wear and some scattered superficial handling marks. (24-6807/MLW). CURIO. $600-900.
