SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL. Cal. 7.65mm. S# 180597. Bbl. 3 1/2". Model 1907 semi-automatic pistol mfg. by Dreyse for the Imperial German military. Left side of the frame is marked "DREYSE" above Dreyse's mfg. information, with a crowned Imperial German military proof marked on the right. Left side of the frame and slide exhibit a Crown/N commercial nitro proof. Metal components exhibit a reapplied dull blue finish. Frame is mounted with 2-piece "RMF" monogram checkered black hard rubber grips. Blade front sight with V-notch rear sight. All serialized parts are matching and include the frame, upper assembly, and bolt. MAGS: one 8-rd. CONDITION: good, with metal components retaining the vast majority of their reapplied dull blue finish, exhibiting areas of light to mild pitting beneath the finish, and scattered spots of light surface oxidation overall. Fair bore, exhibiting scattered spots of dark pitting while retaining good rifling throughout. Grips show scattered marks from handling and storage and a few minor chips, but otherwise remain sturdy and serviceable. (24-6816/MLW). CURIO. $300-400.
