SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL. Cal. 7.65mm. S# 366762k. Bbl. 3 1/4". Model PPK semi-automatic pistol mfg. by Walther in 1942 for the German army. The left side of the slide is marked with the Walther banner logo, followed by markings stipulating Walther's mfg. information, as well as the model and cal. designations. Left side of the frame and slide exhibit a Walther Eagle/WaA359 acceptance proof. Right side of the frame (on chamber), slide, and bbl. exhibit a German Eagle/N commercial nitro proof. Metal components exhibit a dull military blue finish overall. Frame is mounted with a desirable 1-piece Walther banner checkered mottled gray synthetic grip. Slide features a grooved matte rib, with a fixed blade front sight and fixed U-notch rear sight. Slide matches the frame, via the full S# on the right. MAGS: 1 7-rd. CONDITION: metal components retain large amounts of their original arsenal blue finish, exhibiting areas of wear and thinning that show through to gray patina, as well as some scattered superficial handling marks overall. Front grip strap retains a gray patina. Mirror bore, exhibiting some scattered spots of light pitting, while retaining well defined rifling throughout. Grip shows some smoothing to the checkering and scattered superficial marks from handling and storage, with the right side exhibiting several cracks.
