PISTOL WITH HOLSTER. Cal. 9x19mm. S# 7570k. Bbl. 4 7/8". Standard configuration P.38 semi-automatic pistol mfg. by Spreewerke Grottau, Czechoslovakia during WWII. Left side of the slide is marked "P.38", followed by Spreewerke's "cyq" mfg. code and the S#, with Spreewerke Eagle/88 proofs and an eagle firing proof marked on the right. Metal components exhibit a salt blue finish overall. Frame is mounted with 2-piece grooved brown pressed resin grips. Dovetailed blade front sight with U-notch rear sight. All serialized parts are matching and include the frame, slide, bbl., and locking block. MAGS: 2 blued 8-rd. mags. stamped with Eagle/WaA706 proofs and "jvd" on the spines. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: black leather holster marked "jwa/ 4" (Moritz Stecher) on the rear. Digit after "4" on year is illegible. Holster contains spare mag. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original arsenal salt blue finish, showing some spots of light to mild edge wear, as well as some superficial handling marks overall. Brilliant mirror bore, retaining well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics, to include the safety / decocking lever. Grips are very good, with some light superficial handling marks. Holster remains malleable, exhibiting light general wear. (25-5187/MLW). CURIO. $800-1,200.
