SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL. Cal. 9mm Luger. S# 3668f. Bbl. 4 7/8". Standard configuration P.38 mfg. by Walther in 1941. Left side of the slide is marked "P.38", followed by Walther's mfg. code above the 2-digit year of mfg. "ac/ 41", and the S#, with Walther Eagle/359 acceptance proofs marked on the right. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Frame is mounted with 2-piece grooved brown pressed resin grips. All numbers are matching and include the frame, slide, bbl., and locking block. MAGS: 1 post-war 8-rd. P1 mag. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original arsenal blue finish, exhibiting some areas of wear and thinning that show through to gray patina, with scattered spots of dark surface oxidation overall. Bright bore, exhibiting light pitting while retaining well-defined rifling throughout. Grips exhibit some superficial marks from handling and storage but otherwise remain sturdy and serviceable.
