MUSKET. Cal. 80. NSN. 33 3/4" Bbl. is unmarked. Flintlock w/ heavy chamfered plate. Serpentine cock w/ notch at rear to engage dog which pivots at rear of lockplate. Inset pan holds bridled friction frizzen, feather spring w/out finial. Elm wood(?) stock is brass mounted. Serpentine sideplate & trigger guard are stamped w/ initials & rack mark on bow of "I50". Stock features a right hand shadow line cheekpiece, sliding patchbox cover on right & carved ramrod channel. CONDITION: good. Bbl. reconverted from percussion. Stock w/ old refinish. Rusted bore.
