Cal. 10 Ga. 2-7/8". S#11080 (1877). The 30" damascus barrels are hand engraved "PARKER BROS MAKERS MERIDAN CONN. DAMASCUS STEEL" on narrow swamped game rib. Correct markings are on barrel flats and frame size is "3". Case hardened lifter action fitted with front spring rebounding locks is of early style with one piece hinge pin, off set firing pins and square juncture of watertable and standing breech. Fences are nicely fluted and action and lockplates are engraved with sprays of scroll and geometric borders. "1875" patent date is on trigger plate. S# is on trigger guard tang. Nicely crotch figured American walnut round knob pistol grip buttstock measures 14-1/4" over steel buttplate. Point pattern checkering is at grip and a German silver shield is at top of grip. Matching splinter forend with steel tip has sidebolt release. MEASUREMENTS: BBLS: Bore Diameter: L .796. R .796. Restriction: L .033 (full). R .033 (full). Wall thickness: L .050. R .050. Action retains about 40% original color. Locks retain about 90%. Trigger guard is flaked to gray-brown. Stocks retain most of their original oil finish with some marks. Checkering is lightly worn.
