HATS. 1. Slouch hat, black felt, sewn silk edging, 1.75" patent leather sweatband, size 7 label. Tied black ribbon with flat bow and Civil War/ Indian War era officer’s hat cord with acorn knots. Manufactured with small vent holes in top. Very good overall with 1" worn hole in front top fold. 2. Pillbox fatigue cap, navy blue wool, buff band, embroidered insignia with crossed Rifles and “1”. Good overall, bullion chinstrap with tin back eagle “I” buttons, quilted red cotton lining, 1.25" patent leather sweatband. 3. Pillbox fatigue cap, navy blue on 2" OD band, bullion chin strap, eagle side buttons, direct embroidered American eagle insignia, quilted red silk liner with frayed San Francisco makers label. fair to good overall, lacquered 1.5" sweatband dry and cracked but complete.
