NO. 1: U.S. Model 1905 Bayonet & Scabbard. 15 7/8" fullered blade. Marked on left ricasso "SA / flaming bomb / 1919". Marked on right ricasso "US" & serial number. Corrugated walnut grips. Canvas covered scabbard. Leather tip is marked "R.I.A." & "1922". CONDITION: metal retains a large amount of its original blue w/ light wear. Grips have worn appearance & several tiny cracks. Scabbard has staining & wear w/ generally tight stitching. NO. 2: U.S. Model 1905 Bayonet. 16" fullered blade. Left ricasso marked "SA / flaming bomb / 1920". Right ricasso marked "US" & serial number. Walnut grips w/ well-worn corrugations. Scabbard is green colored leather w/ metal tip & throat. Converted to use M1910 belt hook. CONDITION: bayonet retains 50% original blue finish w/ wear & handling marks. Blade is slightly bent near tip. Grips have moderate wear & handling marks. Scabbard has worn flaking green finish. Metal parts have oxidation & wear. NO. 3: U.S. Model 1905 Bayonet. 15 7/8" fullered blade marked on left ricasso "SA / flaming bomb / 1918". Marked on right ricasso "US", serial number & eagle head over "X8". Corrugated walnut grips. Green plastic WWII vintage scabbard w/ metal throat marked w/ "flaming bomb". CONDITION: bayonet has 50% arsenal rework blue finish w/ thinning & wear. Grips are well-worn w/ numerous handling marks & several small missing chips. Scabbard has been arsenal repainted leaving the metal throat gray. NO. 4: U.S. M7 Bayonet. 6 3/4" blade. Front of cross guard is marked "US M7". Black checkered plastic grips. Black plastic scabbard w/ nylon attachment. Likely foreign mfg. CONDITION: bayonet retains most of its original Parkerized finish. Blade has been lightly sharpened. Grips have very light wear. NO. 5: U.S. M7 Bayonet. 6 5/8" blade. Cross guard marked "US M7 / BOC". Black checkered plastic grips. Plastic scabbard w/ web attachment. Throat is marked "US M8A1". CONDITION: bayonet has moderate wear throughout retaining 50% of its original finish. Blade has been sharpened & tip is somewhat shortened. Cross guard is bent. Scabbard is worn, but appears serviceable. PROVENANCE: The Estate Collection of Charles Wagner. (02-23054/RW). NON-GUN. $300-500.
