FRENCH MAS 49-56 BAYONET. No.1: French Model 49-56 Bayonet. Has a distinct appearance w/ its two muzzle rings designed to fit over the grenade launcher. 7 7/8" single edge blade. 12 3/4" overall. Crossguard is marked "MAT / F". Two-piece black composite smooth grip. Steel scabbard marked on back "MAS / 63". Permanently attached green leather frog. CONDITION: bayonet has light handling wear on grip. Metal retains a large degree of its original finish. Scabbard has light wear, but is in good serviceable condition. No.2: US Model 1905 E1 Bayonet. 10" fullered blade. Fuller extends through blade tip. 14 1/2" overall. These bayonets were arsenal modified from the Model 1942 & 1905 16" blade versions. Left ricasso marked "U.C. / U. flaming bomb S. / 1942". Right ricasso has faint "crossed cannons". Ribbed composite grips. Green plastic scabbard w/ belt hook. CONDITION: bayonet retains a large degree of its lightly worn arsenal rework Parkerized finish. Grips have moderate wear. Scabbard in good serviceable condition. No.3: US Model 1905 E1 Bayonet. 10" fullered blade. Fuller extends through blade tip. 14 1/2" overall. Left ricasso marked "U.C. / U. flaming bomb S. / 1943". Right ricasso has faint "crossed cannons". Ribbed composite grips. Green plastic scabbard w/ belt hook. CONDITION: bayonet has thinning & wear of its arsenal rework finish. Blade has been sharpened & edge has notable tiny nicks. Grips have moderate wear. Scabbard has light wear, but appears serviceable. No.4: US M1 Bayonet. 9 3/4" fullered blade. 14 3/8" overall. Left ricasso marked "U.C. / U. flaming bomb S.". Ribbed composite grips. Green plastic scabbard. CONDITION: bayonet has extensive wear, loss of finish w/ light oxidation & grind marks. Blade has been sharpened. Grips have light wear Scabbard has moderate wear w/ notable oxidation on metal parts, but remains serviceable. No.5: US M1 Bayonet. 9 7/8" fullered blade. 14 3/8" overall. Blade marked on left ricasso "U.C. / U. flaming bomb S.". Ribbed composite grips. Danish issued scabbard w/ wood grain composite body. Metal throat is marked w/ the "Danish crown / HTK". CONDITION: bayonet has traces of blue, but shows light sharpening & grind marks throughout. Grips have moderate wear & flattening of ribs. Sheath is in good condition w/ loss of green coloration at throat, but remains serviceable. (02-24122/RW). NON-GUN. $200-400.
