Cal. 45-70. S# 5750. Bbl. 26". Blade front sight. Upper tang-mounted, folding aperture rear sight. Case-colored lock, hammer trigger guard, breechblock, and buttplate. Lock has an eagle and "US SPRINGFIELD" markings. Blued bbl. and band. Half-length checkered walnut stock with pewter tip. Hardwood ramrod is present. CONDITION: stock shows scattered white staining and handling marks. Metal retains 93% of its original blue and case colors, with some scattered oxidation, mostly on the tang of the buttplate.
