SHOT TARGET PISTOL. Cal. 22 LR. S# 2443. Bbl. 10". heavy with hooked Patridge front sight and 2nd style raised wing rear. Mfg. 1928-1941, total production is estimated to be only a few thousand. These pistols were mfg. as competition for Colt's vaunted Camp Perry pistol with Walter Roper overseeing development. This pistol features the straight serrated trigger, high checkered hammer, and serrated rectangular bbl. latch. Serrated front grip strap. Checkered wraparound grips. CONDITION: very fine overall retaining 95% original blue with a few scattered light handling marks. sides of bbl. display a couple areas of fine peppery oxidation. Near excellent grips. Mint bore. (25-1621/BH). MODERN. $800-1,200.
