ACTION TARGET RIFLE. Cal. 22 LR. S# 51110B. Bbl. 28". Model 52B bolt action target rifle mfg. by Winchester in 1942. Left side of the bbl. is marked with the model designation, followed by the Winchester trademark logo, as well as the cal. designation. Left side of the receiver is marked with the S#, with Winchester's mfg. information and the Winchester trademark logo marked on the right. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the bolt body, which is polished in-the-white. 1-piece plain wood pistol grip buttstock, with stainless steel hand stop rail and checkered steel buttplate. Dovetailed post globe front sight, with "WIN. 52" marked rear sight block, fitted with a Marble-Goss adj. aperture rear sight. Bbl. features provisions for a scope attachment. MAGS: 1 5-rd. CONDITION: metal components retain the vast majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting a few scattered spots of light to mild wear and thinning, some scattered superficial handling marks, as well as some small spots of light to mild pitting on the bbl. Mirror bore, retaining well defined rifling throughout. Stock shows some scattered marks and impressions from handling and storage, but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable.
