ANTIQUE SMOOTH WHITE GRIPS. Cal. 32 WCF. S# 306766. Bbl. 5 1/2" with minor alteration to front sight. Mfg 1908. Case hardened action & hammer. Blued Bbl., ejector housing, cyl. & grip frame. Marked on left side of bbl. "(BISLEY MODEL) 32 W.C.F." Bbl. marked on top with 1 line address (block letter). Left side of frame marked with Rampant Colt in circle along with two line, three patent date. Action screws & trigger are nitre blued. Revolver is fitted with attractive antique 2 piece smooth grips. CONDITION: very fine overall. Frame & hammer display 90-95% vivid original case hardened colors with slight fading to loading gate. Bbl, ejector rod housing & grip frame retain approx. 95% original high polish blue with light high edge wear. Cyl. retains 90% blue with uniform finish wear & scratches. Serial numbers are lightly struck on grip frame. Action screws & trigger retain 85% bright fire bluing. Slightly undersized grips are near excellent having acquired a pleasing yellow patina with age. Mechanically excellent with all 4 clicks present. Bright and shiny bore with crisp rifling. Very fine example of a Colt Bisley revolver seldom found in this condition.
