ARMY REVOLVER. Cal. 45 Colt. S# 346615. Bbl. 7 1/2". Mfg. in 1924. Left side of the bbl. is stamped "45 COLT", with Colt's single line address marked across the top. Left side of frame is marked with Colt's 2-line patent information, followed by the Rampant Colt logo. Case colored frame, loading gate, and hammer, with blued bbl., ejector rod housing assembly, cyl., cyl. base pin, trigger guard, and rear grip strap. Frame is mounted with 2-piece Colt brown checkered hard rubber grips. Standard SAA pattern blade front sight with frame notched rear sight. All serialized parts are matching and include the frame (right), trigger guard (right), and rear grip strap. Cyl. is matching via "15" on the rear face, with the grips each matching via the full S#, which is etched on the interior of the panels. CONDITION: frame, loading gate, and hammer retain the majority of their original case colored finish, showing some spots of light wear and fading. Blued parts are very good, with some light edge wear and scattered superficial handling marks. Cyl shows light wear around its circumference. Brilliant mirror bore, retaining well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics, with no cyl. play. Grips are very good, with a few superficial marks from handling and storage.
