Blue finished bbl. with case colored action. Walnut forend & Straight grip stock with checkered steel shotgun buttplate. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: a Winchester Gun Museum letter dated August 24, 1973 from T.E. Hall stating: "The Winchester Model 1886 serial number records list number 65184 as a rifle, caliber 50-110, round barrel, plain trigger, 1/2 magazine. Shotgun butt, sporting leaf sights. Platina Line. Shipped May 20th, 1892, no other information listed. CONDITION: fine. bbl. retains over 97% lightly faded blue showing small wear spots, scratches, and dark spots. Action retains over 75% lightly faded case colors showing wear in carry areas. Unsanded stocks have light coat of added finish over scratches and marks. Sound action. Bright near excellent bore.
