Schnable tipped walnut forearm w/ ebony insert. Straight grip walnut stock w/ case colored crescent steel buttplate. Toeline of stock has an added oval nameplate. Mfg. 1906. The model 1895 in the desirable 405 chambering is noted as being used by Teddy Roosevelt on his African safari. CONDITION: over 97% original blue.
