Bolt body and extractor are Damascened. Trigger is of single pull. Drop box bottom metal has hinged floor plate secured by push button in trigger guard bow. Pistol grip stock, probably by John Dubiel, of swirled grain dense European walnut measures 14-3/8" over Silver type pad and features shadow line right hand cheekpiece, point pattern checkering which wraps over top of grip and around forend, horn forend tip, steel grip cap and sling eyes. MEASUREMENTS: WEIGHT: 8 lb. 11 oz. CONDITION: fine as restored. Metal retaining nearly all good quality rust blue. Stock with good quality oil refinish. Checkering re-cut. Rear sight and pad are relatively recent replacements. Bore is very fine; shiny with strong rifling throughout. Mechanically fine. A well balanced handy rifle. (25-3416MGM). CURIO. $7,000-12,000.
