Cal. 30 Carb. S# 3869773. Bbl. 18", IBM undated. Unmarked blade front sight with protective ears. Stamped, "IR"-marked adjustable aperture rear sight. Flat, parkerized bolt, marked "AOB" on the right lug. Third variation operating slide, marked "AOB". Trigger housing, marked "BE-B" on the right side. "WMB"-marked straight hammer. "CM"-marked rotating safety. "WA"-marked mag. release. Third-type band, marked "KI" on the left side, with bayonet lug. "PR-B"-marked recoil plate. Walnut, low wood stock set with left side sling provisions, canvas sling, and "BR-B"-marked sling cut. Bottom of pistol grip has faint white paint rack number. Two-rivet handguard, marked "BR-B". MAGS: two 15 rd.; one mag. is marked "S-E" and the other "UI". UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: GI canvas muzzle cover, marked "U.S." and "ROBEY TACKLE 1944". CONDITION: stock set has an arsenal rework-type finish, with some chipping around the butt, a few paint stains, scattered dings, a flaking oil finish, and handling marks. Metal retains 85% of its arsenal-reworked parkerized finish with some edge wear and fading, most notably on bottom metal. Action functions properly when hand-cycled. Bright, near very good+ bore.
