REVOLVER, 107TH OHIO. Cal. 31. S# 237765. Revolver is in standard configuration of Colt Model 1849 with longest 6" barrel. Made in 1863, included with pistol is letter written by Jacob Lichty on patriotic stationery. Jacob enlisted October 1862 as commissary Sergeant, was promoted to Lieutenant in April 1863, he served until July 1865. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: small file of research and information where material was purchased. There is information stating that this revolver was originally in a Kittridge marked holster with Lichty's name which is not found. CONDITION: very good overall, strong traces of original factory blue and case colors, good cylinder scene, all matching, grips retain most of their factory varnish. Mechanically fine, crisp rifled bore. Letter and envelope are very good. PROVENANCE: from the Lifelong Collection of Robert "Mike" Bricker. (01-25016/JS). ANTIQUE. $700-900.
