SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL WITH HOLSTER. Cal. 8x22mm Nambu. S# 33661. Bbl. 4 1/2". Type 14 semi-automatic pistol mfg. in August of 1937 at the Kokura arsenal. Left side of the frame is marked with Kanji characters denoting the model designation, with the right side exhibiting the Kokura arsenal insignia and the S#, above the Showa date code "10.8". Metal components exhibit a mixture of original and touched up bluing overall, with some small parts being either strawed or polished in-the-white. Frame is mounted with 2-piece grooved wood grips. Blade front sight, with notch rear sight. All serialized parts are matching and include the frame, mag. release button, mag. safety, trigger guard, bbl./bbl. extension, bolt carrier, locking block, cocking piece, as well as the mag. Grips, firing pin, and firing pin extension are unnumbered. Lanyard loop on rear of frame has been removed. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: original brown leather holster, containing an original cleaning rod. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original and touched up blue finishes, exhibiting some areas of thinning and wear, as well as areas with varying degrees of pitting overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting a few spots of light to mild pitting, while retaining strong rifling throughout. Grips are very good, showing some scattered handling marks and scratches overall. Leather holster remains malleable, exhibiting scattered superficial marks from handling and storage overall. Lid shows some losses to the leather along the right edge.
