Cal. 410. S# 14347D. Blade front sight with protective ears. Tangent rear sight graduated to 2000m that is blocked at lowest elevation. All visible numbers are matching as arsenal renumbered. These shotguns were converted by Ishapore to single shot configuration from 303 SMLE rifles to a special .410 round. They were given to prison guards & riot police. Right side of socket has GRI Ishapore 1930 markings. Left side of socket has 1949 RFI Ishapore conversion markings. Blued & Suncorite finishes. Hardwood stock set with bottom mounted sling swivels & SMLE style sling. Right side of box has Indiana "S (Broad Arrow) A" roundel. CONDITION: cleaned stock set has a few armorer patch repairs, scattered dings & handling wear. Metal retains 92% arsenal rework finishes with scattered flaking, edge wear, finish overrun & light oxidation. Action functions properly when hand cycled. Very good bright bore. (25-2725/MJC).
