Cal. 30 Carb. S# 3001024. Bbl. 18" Inland dated 8-43. Blade front sight marked "N" on bottom. Folding aperture rear sight marked "S" on the left side. Flat parkerized bolt marked "AI" on left lug. Fourth variation operating slide marked "PI". Inland marked trigger housing. Type 2 "Dogleg" hammer marked "HI". Unmarked blued push button safety. "W-I" marked mag release. Recoil plate markings are faint but appear to be "IO". Parkerized finish. Unmarked push button safety. "W-I" marked mag release. Highwood walnut stock set with oval sling cut & green canvas sling. Right side of butt has ordnance wheel cartouche & bottom of pistol grip has circled "P" firing proof. Both of these markings may have been applied post service. Left sling cut has "IO" marking. Two rivet handguard marked "IO" on the underside. Unmarked front band with wide sling swivel. MAGS: 1-15 rd. marked "SY-B" for IBM. CONDITION: stock set has arsenal rework appearance with some band removal wear, scattered dings & handling marks. Metal retains 90% arsenal rework type parkerized finish with scattered light fading & edge wear. Action functions properly when hand cycled. Very good bright bore.
