RIFLE. Cal. 375 H&H Mag. S# A 200278. Bbl. 24" APEX Match Grade having squared recessed target crown; .690" at muzzle & 1.165" at receiver. Mfg. Dec. 1976; "1276" on right side of rear receiver bridge. Slot at rear of receiver & underside of bolt handle have matching number "2235". Commercial Mauser action made by CZ & imported by Interarms. Flat checkered bottom of bolt knob, safety to right of bolt shroud & adjustable trigger. Complete action bedded (not trigger guard) giving full floating bbl. from receiver to muzzle. Nice straight grained Walnut stock w/ dark streaks, Monte Carlo cheek piece, sling studs, Supreme brown ventilated recoil pad w/ black base plus white line spaced, rosewood forend tip (slanted back cut) & grip cap. Hinged floorplate & stylized trigger guard being narrow at rear. Borderless cut checkering w/ ends of panels (3 on forend, 2 at grip) being curved, scalloped uncheckered borders at mid points & fleur de lis at ends. Redfield 2 piece scope mt. set w/ vintage engraved rings having under screws. Recent production Leupold Vari-X III 2.5-8X32 Duplex reticle matte finished scope numbered "170266N". Flip up lens caps; see through front & solid Leupold brand rear. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Browning waterproof Travel Vault having foam cutouts for 2 rifles. Travel stickers on exterior plus 2 keys; all very good. CONDITION: generally near excellent w/ faint handling marks on stock set to include sm. indent on left side adjacent to floorplate pivot pin plus 1/4" band 1/2" from muzzle of thin finish as if by lathe steady rest. Occasional extremely faint finish marks on bbl. & damaged screw slot on rear trigger guard screw. Near excellent bore. (23-614/NW). MODERN. $1,000-1,500.
