Lot includes seven blade-type bayonets & three socket-type bayonets. 1) Swiss Model 1911 Pioneer Bayonet w/ Sawback. 18 7/8" fullered bright blade. 24" overall. Blade is fullered on the right side & marked on the right ricasso w/ "Swiss cross / HS" & has additional electro-penciled "568-64-5688". Serial number "37.753" appears on the right side of the crossguard. Steel pommel has extended length. Short smooth wood grips retained by rivets. No scabbard is present. CONDITION: bright metal has light wear & scattered small spots of oxidation. Grips have light wear. Small 3/4" crack at rear of right grip. 2) Model 1889/99 Schmidt-Rubin Bayonet. 11 3/4" bright fullered blade. 16 1/2" overall. Blade is made w/ the distinct rivet in the right fuller to help hold the bayonet in the scabbard. Marked on right ricasso "WAFFENFABRIK NEUHAUSEN". Serial number on crossguard. Smooth walnut grips secured by rivets. Black metal scabbard. CONDITION: bayonet has light wear & scattered spots of oxidation. Smooth grips have light wear & staining. Scabbard retains most of its arsenal rework black finish. 3) Hungarian Model 1935 Cavalry Bayonet. 13 1/4" double-edged blade. 18 3/4" overall. Crossguard w/ front sight on top of muzzle ring. Crossguard carries serial number "C-16359" & Hungarian acceptance mark on the right side. Smooth hardwood grip w/ flattened sides, circular steel pommel. Green painted steel scabbard. Scabbard has Hungarian acceptance mark on the frog retainer. CONDITION: blade retains traces of original blue. Balance of metal has oxidation & patina. Well-worn grips have numerous small cracks. Scabbard has 40% of its green finish w/ oxidation & patina. 4) Swedish Model 1914 Bayonet. 13" double-edged fullered blade. 18" overall. Front crossguard w/ forward curved quillon. Bayonet has two catches. The front catch for the scabbard w/ its rectangular checkered head extends into the left ricasso. The rear catch is at the top of the pommel. Blade is marked on the right ricasso "P.J. / Swedish crown / AB". Smooth hardwood grips retained by two screws. Blackened steel scabbard. CONDITION: bayonet has a lightly worn condition w/ scattered handling marks, maintaining a good appearance. Scabbard has arsenal rework thinning black finish. 5) Swedish Model 1896 Bayonet. 8" 1/4 fullered spear-point blade. 13" overall. Blade is marked on left ricasso "EJ / crown & anchor / AB / 197". Crossguard is marked "D I. 21 NO 722". Hollow knurled blued steel handle. Pommel has the characteristic Swedish latch. Blued steel scabbard w/ leather frog. CONDITION: lightly sharpened blade has wear & peppery oxidation. Balance of metal has worn thinning blue. Scabbard w/ traces of blue turned overall gray. Leather frog has extensive wear. Replaced front strap & areas of missing stitching. 6) Austrian Model 1895 Bayonet. 9 5/8" bright fullered blade w/ inverted cutting edge. 14 1/8" overall. Left ricasso has tiny faint "double eagle" marking. Right ricasso has the Steyr "OE / WG" marking. Crossguard w/ muzzle ring assembled by two rivets carries lined-out serial number. Smooth hardwood grips secured by two rivets. Steel scabbard marked "V & N" on frog retaining hook. CONDITION: bayonet has moderate wear, dents & scratches. Grips have light wear & staining. Scabbard has arsenal rework blue w/ thinning scratches & small dents. Frog retaining hook has been reattached. 7) Yugoslavian M44 Bayonet. 9 3/4" blued fullered blade. 15" overall. Blade is marked on right ricasso w/ cyrillic letters & "44". Crossguard carries serial number. Smooth hardwood grips retained by Spanner screws. Blued steel scabbard w/ matching number. Leather frog w/ retaining strap. CONDITION: bayonet & grips have very light wear & retain most of their blued finish. Pommel has numerous dents on the left side. Scabbard retains most of its original blue. Frog has extensive wear & flexing. Stitching remains tight. 8) Russian Model 1861 Berdan 2 Socket Bayonet. 20" quadrangular blade w/ screwdriver tip. Socket w/ locking ring. Neck carries partly visible serial number. Bayonet is otherwise unmarked. CONDITION: bayonet retains 50% of its original worn thinning blue, turning patina. / 9) Russian Model 1891 Mosin Nagant Bayonet w/ Locking Ring. 16 3/4" quadrangular spike blade w/ screwdriver tip. Bayonet has Izhevsk bow & arrow marking on right side. This along w/ the workmanship indicates soviet manufacture. CONDITION: bayonet has moderate wear, but retains much of its original blue finish. 10) Russian Model 91/30 Socket Bayonet. 16 3/4" quadrangular blade w/ screwdriver tip. Blade has later type catch. Markings include original serial number & electro-penciled replacement. Bayonet retains a large degree of its lightly worn blue finish. (02-24537-19/RW). NON-GUN. $500-700.
