ITEMS. NO.1: 1897 Krag bayonet. 11 5/8" fullered bright blade. Marked on left ricasso "1900". Marked on right ricasso "US". Walnut grips secured by round head rivets. Steel scabbard w/ belt hook. CONDITION: blade has light wear, staining & spots of oxidation. Edge has been lightly sharpened. Balance of metal parts have turned overall patina w/ very fine pitting. Grips have moderate wear & staining. Scabbard shows 50% blue showing patina w/ spots of light oxidation. NO.2: U.S. Model 1917-18 Trench Knife. 8 7/8" triangular blade. Knife is marked on inside of guard "U.S.A. / A.C.C.O. / 1917". Walnut grip w/ finger grooves. Stamped handguard w/ two rows of five triangular flanges. Green leather scabbard is marked "Jewell-1918" w/ black finished throat & tip. Throat is equipped w/ belt hook. CONDITION: knife retains a large degree of its metal finish. Blade has scabbard wear. Knuckle bow has light wear & patina while retaining a good degree of blue. Handle shows light wear, scratches & staining. Scabbard has fading & light wear. Stitching is tight. Metal parts turning patina. NO.3: PAL RH36 U.S. Military Knife. Prior to WWII, Pal acquired Remington Cutlery & continued to use Remington markings such as "RH36" which stood for Remington Hunting & 36 which meant a six inch blade. Fullered blade measures 6 1/8" & carries its markings on the left ricasso including "PAL" in oval. Stacked leather washer handle. Aluminum butt. Original brown leather stitched & riveted sheath. Sheath has ink markings on both sides w/ a "SGT LEWIS ROBBINS" name & "1944" & "45" dates. CONDITION: knife is well-used. Blade has been lightly sharpened. Turning gray in patina. Scabbard has moderate wear, but stitching is tight. 1/2 of the retaining strap is missing. NO.4: KA-BAR USN MK2 knife. 7 1/8" fullered blade. Title markings appear on crossguard. Stacked leather washer handle. Gray plastic scabbard w/ web frog marked "USN / MK2". CONDITION: lightly sharpened blade retains most of its Parkerized finish. Handle has moderate wear & handling marks. Scabbard has moderate wear & scuffing, but is in serviceable condition. NO.5: US Model 1942 bayonet. Fullered blade shortened to 10". Blade marked on left ricasso "AFH / flaming bomb / US / 1942". Grooved brown composite grips. Green plastic scabbard w/ metal throat marked w/ "US" in "flaming bomb" on metal throat. CONDITION: blade is turning gray w/ wear & grind marks. Edge has notable small nicks. Well-worn grips w/ numerous handling marks. Scabbard has worn finish showing the underlying material. NO.6: US Model 1942 bayonet. 9 7/8" fullered blade. Blade has been shortened from the original 16" length. Blade marked on left ricasso "UFH / US / flaming bomb / 1943". Grooved brown composite grips. Green plastic scabbard w/ metal throat. Throat has "US" in "flaming bomb". CONDITION: sharpened blade has worn Parkerizing, turning gray. Moderate to heavy wear. Balance of metal turning gray & patina. NO.7: US M4 bayonet by Imperial. 6 3/8" blade. Stacked leather washer handle. Green plastic scabbard w/ web frog marked "US M8 A1". CONDITION: blade has slightly shortened tip & has been sharpened, retaining noticeable oxidation & pitting. Leather handle has wear & scuffing. Scabbard has moderate wear & staining. NO.8: US M4 bayonet by UTICA. 6 5/8" blade. Stacked leather washer handle. Green plastic scabbard w/ web frog marked "US M8". CONDITION: blade turning gray & patina w/ light oxidation. Handle has moderate wear, scuffing & handling marks. Scabbard has wear & staining, but remains serviceable. NO.9: Lensatic Compass. Vintage Compass has black case w/ brass fittings. Compass dial is marked "W&LE GURLEY / TROY, N.Y. / USA". Unmarked canvas pouch has two fasteners & belt hook on back. CONDITION: compass appears to function correctly w/ only light overall wear & has soldier-added lightly scratched "W3107". Pouch has extensive wear & staining, but remains serviceable. NO.10: Unmarked Steel Mirror. Approx. 3x4 1/2" w/ unmarked green canvas pouch. CONDITION: pouch & mirror in good serviceable condition. (02-23297-1/RW). NON-GUNS. $500-700.
