Notable items include US Maritime Commission lifeboat sextant dated 1944 in fitted case w/ manual, parallel, dividers, pencil & eraser. Sextant is gray plastic. Set including sextant appears complete & functional. Box has scuffing & wear. / Scottish 48th Highlander cap & badge. Cap is blue w/ red & white border. Cap has insect damage & staining. / Miniature life ring likely handiwork of sailor, dated 1943 & marked "U.S.S. Tennessee". / Inert 40mm M25 shell & casing dated 1943 w/ cardboard tube. / 3 Quivers containing bamboo darts. Most have fletching. Likely New Guinea or Philippines in origin. / Japanese brass MG feed strip for Hotchkiss gun w/ original cloth covered cardboard sleeve. / Green wooden box marked "PMD6 Anti Personnel Mine". / US military 1907 sling. / Parts of Japanese wooden sword scabbards. / Broken sword blade & 1 machete. / Mauser C-96 leather holder for wooden shoulder stock. Markings appear "Berlin" & "1916". / Wooden cane w/ eagle head motif handle & concealed 11 1/2" knife blade. Blade was likely reground from original length. / Enamel US Army Paratroops logos, blue in color, approx. 3 1/2" diameter on thin sheet metal. Some have been removed, 23 remaining.
