REVOLVING RIFLE. 50.5” overall, 32” unmarked round tapered barred, 1000yard Lawrence style rear sight, sophisticated system where the 2.5" drum attached to left side of breech contains rotating 20-cap flange if working would place cap on following nipple, and load from front loaded magazine. This is possibly unique, well made, all iron with exception of 2 full length brass capped cylindrical copper magazines. Varnished walnut stock, military style butt plate. CONDITION: appears original and mostly complete, mechanics need attention as hammer binds before dropping past half-cock, cylinder is locked in place by unmoving hand. Mottled iron patina, magazines are dark mottled copper patina. Good rifled bore. (01-27822/JS). ANTIQUE. $4,000-6,000.
