ACTION REVOLVER. Cal. 10.35mm. S# A15059. Bbl. 4 1/2". Bodeo Model 1889 Tipo A (Type A, with folding trigger) double-action revolver mfg. by MIDA in Brescia, Italy, in 1918. Left side of the frame is marked "MIDA/ BRECIA/ 1918," with the S# marked on the right. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered wood grips. Standard blade front sight, with V-notch rear sight. All serialized parts are matching via "2CCC" (appears to be an assembly #) and include the frame (beneath left grip panel), sideplate, cyl. (marked with both the S# and assembly #), cyl. base pin/ejector rod retainer, as well as the grips. Forward screw of left side of frame (just ahead of cyl.) is absent. CONDITION: good, with metal components retaining large amounts of their arsenal blue finish, exhibiting areas of wear and thinning that show through to gray patina, some scattered marks and small spots of marring from handling and storage, as well as some scattered areas of pitting overall. Bright bore, exhibiting some spots of pitting while retaining well-defined rifling throughout. Grips show a few scattered marks from handling and storage but otherwise remain sturdy and serviceable.
