ACTION PERCUSSION REVOLVER WITH FACTORY BOX. Cal. 36. S# 12189. Bbl. 6 1/2". New Model Army single action percussion revolver mfg. in Italy by DGG / Euroarms in 1971. Top flat of the octagonal bbl. is marked "EUROARMS - BRESCIA", with the model and cal. designations marked on the left flat, a pair of Italian proofs and "BLACK POWDER ONLY" marked on the right flat, and with "MADE IN ITALY" followed by the "DGG" logo marked on the lower flat. Right side of the frame is marked with a pair of Italian proofs, followed by an "XX7" (1971) date code. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the trigger and hammer, which are case colored. 1-piece brass trigger guard, with 2-piece plain wood grips. Blade front sight with frame notched rear sight. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: wood grain cardboard box with matching E.M.F. Co. end label. Box contains a brass powder flask, tin of Remington percussion caps, and a bag of lead ball projectiles. CONDITION: fine, with metal components retaining virtually all of their original factory finishes overall. Mirror bore, retaining strong rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Wood grips are very good, with a couple of small cracks present on the right panel along the upper right edge at the frame. Box shows warping and general overall exterior wear, but otherwise remains sound. (01-28788/MLW). ANTIQUE. $250-350.
