Cal. 6.5 Carcano. S# GF4253. Bbl. 33". Blade front sight. Elevator rear sight graduated to 2000m. Matching numbers on bbl. & force matched stock. Italian Vetterli updated to 6.5 Carcano during WW1. Bbl. has Torino arsenal marking & 1884 date. Hardwood stock with bottom mounted sling swivels. No cleaning rod present. CONDITION: stock has a dark appearance with overall finish loss, with a few armorer patch repairs, a couple small cracks, scattered dings, handling marks & scratches. Metal is an overall dull gray oxidized patina with some pitting along the woodline & black staining. Action appears to function properly when hand cycled. Bore has strong rifling but scattered pitting. (01-27020/MJC). ANTIQUE. $100-200.
